Hi my name is Patrick Gibbs and i am located in South Africa with special interests arts, business and current afairs. I have worked for a lot of agencies in the past but currently i am just doing freelance work where i get to work at my pace and also spend time with my family back in South Africa. . I cut my media teeth in local radio news in South Africa before heading to London where I spent six years as a financial journalist (print). I hold an M.A. in International Journalism (City University, London) and a Journalism degree (Rhodes University, Economics major).

Currently i am a freelance contributor to a variety of South African national newspapers and magazines as well as occasional international stringer work. I write news and features on a range of diverse topics with a special interest in Business and the Arts. I have experience in print, online and radio reporting.
